THE HISTORY

Ever wonder how the band you know and love today came to be about? Here's everything you need to know. 

Though "Waker" has only existed for one year, we can date back to 2003, the start of it all.

 

September, 2003

Chase and Conor meet at 10 years old in 5th grade after both moving to Colorado. The two start sharing their similar music interests & form a middle school band.

September, 2012

After getting tired of sending each other music material back and forth through the internet, Conor moves to Nashville & joins Chase at Belmont University to reconstruct their musical ambitions & start a band.

Conor meets Ryan Ladd 

October, 2012

Bader, Kelly, & Ladd become a band named Koa

They begin recording their debut EP, "Cool It Down", with Chase on drums

Waker releases their first music video ever. The band took their song,"Pike", and journeyed up 14,115 feet to the summit of Pike's Peak.
